Cool map! These magazine games I’ve been seeing are really, mostly, wonderful! …granted this is an older game, but it looks like a good one!

 Panzer Lehr battalion holds on to Rochefort after a determined attack by the US 2nd Armor Division and while Lehr still holds the town they are now out of supply. The German 9th Panzer Division while in a good position to intercede and help Lehr has run out of fuel on it's approach march. Game is Celles by Revolution Games. |

 Rattenkrieg, a postcard solitaire game (black and white map and counters) that came with a game I ordered. Had it copied and enlarged. A simple game that I found to be a good time killer. As the name would suggest it is a Stalingrad city fight with the player controlling the Germans. Object is to eliminate all Soviet counters to win. You lose at any point there are more Soviet then German counters on the map or are eliminated yourself. |

Rattenkrieg…Had it copied and enlarged. Oh my Gosh, I never thought of that! I have a few postcard games, which are indeed small, obviously…having them enlarged is a GREAT idea!!! Thanks for this great tip! |

Thanks for this great tip! Went to the local library and had it done but they don't do colored ink. Still looks good for a battered city. I also have a couple more I may get enlarged too. |

I not only love these postcard games, but I love the idea you had to blow some of there up at the local copy center! The post card games are great for travel and days away from home, but a large scale version is so much more enjoyable to play and view!

Celles is back on the table. Trying to have the German 2nd Panzer Division make a straight run for the Meuse River. Thinking that this way the US 2nd Armor Division would have to split up and cover more ground. Of course on turn two the 2nd Panzer didn't draw an activation so it is stalled for lack of fuel leaving two units out in no man's land and the rest of it's division stranded in its assembly area. Not shown is that the US 2nd Armored Division has now moved to within striking distance of the two 2nd Panzer units.  |
