Please do tell… have you been gaming a lot still? I used to really enjoy your your 1/72 scale miniatures games… Battiefornt:WWII is still a favorite system of mine, thanks to seeing your reports and AARs on it. I still have my CAPS card, btw!  |

Thanks gents. Been having medical issues again so the recovery time has held things back.
This place looks really good now.
Haven't been gaming much at all for a while but I am doing some modelling Em - found the latest prices a bit of an eye opener though.
Josta - I take it you are still working on the modern stuff. Interested to see how you are progressing.
I intend to post some modelling pics as i go, especially gaming oriented as well as some display stuff - only those who need glasses
and don't wear them at the time may view though.

Sorry to hear of the medical issues… God knows there’s plenty amount many of the members here, including me! People don’t realize the wear and tear wargaming and model building can take on ye, lol! Seriously though, I know yiure taking care of business with that and making health a priority.
Yes indeed, that model kit prices are kinda ridiculous, as high as they’ve gine with basically the same manufacturing process, eh? …but with all hobbies, “You Pay to Play”.
Looking forward to seeing what you’ve been up to build-wise, and don’t forget ti post any old stuff, as well. Welcome back… REALly good to see you here!

Ah, the good Doctor. Model Doctor that is. Glad to see you here as I am spending more time on modelling so I know if I need to fix something I have the right person to help. All reasonable with the medical stuff Em, other aches and pains are just age I think. Still, at least my ops got me in the Guinness book of records - get this - World's first successful brain donor. Pretty cool. |

I've gotten more into solo board games and have been working my way through a few of those. I'm still learning new tabletop rules too, though. I've been working with AI a lot this year and plan to let it "DM" my future solo miniatures games. I also want to get into models at some point--I guess this forum has been an influence. Uh-huh-huh...he said, "Get into models." |

Uh-huh-huh...he said, "Get into models." A tip on that, which may prove a nice back door into models would be to check out Team Yankee! (See here for an example)… all in 15mm, the vehicles are akin to larger scale models, even being sold on sprues! Paired with some squads, you have some righteous gaming potential on the modern battlefield! Uh-huh-huh...he said, "Get into models." Ahh, good luck with that can of worms.
