Don't listen to them Josta. Modelling is great and everything you do is your creation because it will be different to everyone else's.
And the glue isn't bad at all. I have been using it for decades with no ill effects.... Ooh look. There's that purple dragon flying over the garden again.

Well I gotta admit you and MagMan probably have a lot in common for modeling interest, as he’s been the most prolific “Braille Scale” modeler I’ve ever run into! I’ve built maybe one 1/72 scale model, and that was a WWI Gotha biplane bomber, which might as well been a 1/35 scale any-other-biplane in size. The fact that he and his mates played really massive diorama Wargames in 1/72 has yet to be rivaled by anyone else I’ve ever seen. On the glue sniffing, what he’s avoiding is, it actually quite medicinal… TETC for instance, will start to smell like a fresh bouquet of roses after awhile, and apparently really does attract purple dragons (…hint: they like theor chins scratched).
