Who doesn’t like Pizza! That’s been a a Super Bowl staple for me in the past. Tonight, went simple with a couple hot dogs, pickles, and chips.

Today for dinner: For me and my wife homemade deep dish pizza. For me tomato sauce, mozzarella and anchovies, for my wife mozzarella tomato sauce and artichokes and finally for my daughter a calzone (pizza roll?) with ham and mozzarella. The image is not 'our' 'calzone' but think of a pizza folded on itself with its delicious filling inside...  |

I like calzones and ham and mozzarella sounds delicious. As for me I'm having a pizza from our local pizzeria tonight. I will be eating early this evening as the International ski jumps are at Pine Mountain this weekend and the town will be crazy tonight. A good night to stay in and work on a model or play a game.

Spaghetti with Meatballs! …my wife made her Italian grandma’s homemade meatballs, so it a good “Last (non-Vegan) Meal”; we’d come off the wagon the past couple months with eating some meats and dairy, but she’s goin’ back on it again Saturday…which means, I’m goin’ back on it   |

We had spicy sausage and peppers grinders and potato salad last night! Tonight was chili and home made cornbread. …might be an interesting gastronomic night…after picking up the car from having a new windshield put in, we stopped at a lakeside restaurant where I had a burger with bourbon infused pulled pork and cheddar, which was delicious! Been taking a bit of a break from fully vegan of late. |

Vegan pizza tonight… I’m not real thrilled with these to be honest, mainly because of the vegan cheese used, which to me tastes too tart and is soupy (like you yogurt), but my wife loves it so, I take a bullet. I could get a non-vegan pizza, but I feel kinda guilty eating it while she’s being so healthy, lol.

It was national Pasta Day yesterday, so I we had spaghetti with vegan meatballs and salad for din din. I love Rao’s Homemade Arrabbiata spicy marinara sauce and am pretty much set on just that one sauce, to be honest (though I do like plain ‘ol Ragu, too!).
