It’s been a cold Spring here in New England, and the temps still require at the least, a sweater outside during the days, coat at night. Today we had temps hit 70 degrees, and sunny skies, making it a pleasant open-window day. Back to rain and 50’s tomorrow.

Heavy overcast today with high around 50. Storms passing through the state-Wisconsin-tonight and tomorrow but should stay to the south of us.

Cold and rainy today, but the weather’s about to change in a big way over the next several days! Going to move up from the 50’s to the 70’s, and by the end of next week, into the 80’s! So here in the US Northeast New England States, we’ve typically moved from Winter temps below the 40’s straight into Summer temps in the 80’s… completely missing Spring! It’s been a decent Spring this year, but colder than usual… if we can get some 70’s as out predominant temps over the next three or so weeks, that would be awesome!

It was amazing here too, yesterday… neared 70 degrees and sunny! Ton or hard work done and it’s looking better than it has in a long time, I’m happy to report. Today, windy and cloudy, but rain early moved out, and was good for the new grass seed in holes filled where stumps were just removed last week.

Another great day going on, lots of sunshine and around 70 degrees. Our yearly city wide rummage sale is going on today and our quiet little street is like a highway at the moment. Great day for it though. Used to be I could find some militaria but those days are long gone now.

It’s been unusual ly cold hereabouts Western Massachusetts… below average temps that had me wearing a flannel shirt over my tee the past few days of the weekend, but it warmed up today in the upper 70’s and will get muggy tomorrow, along with some showers. I can’t complain though, as past recent years were super hot right out of Winter.

Perfect day today as far as I am concerned, mid 70's not a cloud in the sky with low humidity and a nice breeze out of the north west.

Step out of the shade today and that sun will knock you down! …I feel your pain! Heat wave in upper 90’s, that feel past 100. Even with the house central ac on, it’s struggling. The grass around here is crunchy… though some of my neighbors are watering their lawns, we’re in a drought and they shouldn’t be. Funny how their ego is wrapped into a green lawn! |

Finally a break from the heat and humidity, and a break for the AC too. Just beautiful today. The storms I mentioned in the last post went just south of us battering Green Bay, (they were hosting an international soccer meet at Lambeau Field) and the Fox Valley many folks still without power. BTW, Manchester beat Bayern 1 to 0. After having to take 2 weather related breaks.
