Rulebooks are often fine as is — but for rules that need to be referenced a lot, when charts are embedded within the rulebook, or even game maps within the book, it might be a good idea to get them spiral coil bound. Staples and many other office supplies stores that have a copy center will offer this service for a nominate of under $4. My first experience with this was with a pocket Flames of War rulebook and it was a game changer! Here’s an example of the three Mike Lambo solitaire book wargames, starting with a before of thr “Ghosts of thr Jungle” book… …and what the after looks like… The entire service price was $13.52

I like that. Been fighting with "Ghosts". So worth it! …costs less than a sandwich at the Deli! I’d forgotten to mention that spiral bound books can be flipped to 1-page side for the chart, if you’re using a copy of the map.
