By CSL (Combat Simulation Ltd) Serbia 1914 is one of a series of 3 games on the beginning of WW1, each stand alone game can be put together to play the start of WW1 on the eastern front. The other two games in the series are East Prussia and Galicia Let's start with the part I like the least, a two part map. I hold them together with post it notes, the sticky strips hold the maps together well when used with plexiglass.

Small counter count for such a big map. Counters are thin but 5/8 of an inch and easily readable. greenshotscreenshot pc

Counters come with rounded corners and are held in place with 1 side nib. Be nice if someday all game companies cut their counters this way. If the one nib is a problem I'll shave them off with single edge razor blade. 13 pages of rules.

That looks outstanding! I like the part where you can combine all three games… I love expandability like that. Overall, a great looking game.
The counters are nice… I agree that it’s great seeing more companies round the counters in the die cutting process and I expect to see more of that in the future, as more steel-rule die companies offer that option to manufacturers. The flip side of that coin is, I believe gamers will start demanding this quality… sure would put a crimp in Oregon Laminations counter-rounder sales!!!
Yeah, the two part map is a pain when the maps are paper… not so much an issue with small mapboards that are mounted on hardback, but the paper is near impossible to get flat without plexi to begin with, never mind holding edge-to-edge sides flush.
I’m looking forward to seeing this one played! Thanks for posting this thread!!!
