This was a question I remember asked way back in my Armchair General and World War Two Zone days Oddly, I’ve never seen this question in any of the other model forums I’ve frequented all these years, but it is a question that has always stuck with me for some reason. I’ve asked myself this question many times and never had a concrete answer for it… I would like to say I build models all year long, but that doesn’t seem to work out. I am not sure I even have a set season, to be honest, but if I had to say something, I would say I build more in the colder weather months. On a sidebar here…I remember a fellow modeler from England, though I cannot remember his handle (I think it may have been Bishop) who in retirement, would get up and build models a bit, head out to the pub around lunch, and head back home at some point and maybe do a little more tinkering. I always thought that an idyllic concept, but that’s definitely not me (…the going to the pub part, anyway). However, in retirement for for me personally, I’ve settled into puttering in hobbies after breakfast and then just rolling with the rest of the day…it seems to be the wagon wheel track I’ve settled into.

I do build all year round but I may encounter Mojo setbacks from time to time making my building mor sporadic. But I'm still an excellent serial kit starter. It's somewhere around 10+ kits that I've started so far this year only.
