Sad to hear France 44 didn't sell well and was considered a bust. I really enjoy the game myself. And all because, according to Mark Hermann the designer, it didn't way enough when the consumer picked up the box. Of course now Compass Games has polished up the game and put it back on the market. I liked his joke " Should have put a brick in the box "

I liked his joke " Should have put a brick in the box " Yes indeed! …I had wanted the original, but never laid my hands on it. But did pick up the Compass Games designer’s edition in 2022.
