As many of us have experienced, bottles of acrylic paint have the annoying habit of seeing its contents settle and sludge up at the bottom of long dormant, unused bottles. a quick fix is placing ball bearings into the bottles, turning them into rattle-can-style vessels of painterly goodness!

A word of advice here! DO NOT use ball bearings in 17ml bottles as they easily may clog up the nozzle so that you automaticly squeze harder on the bottle with the (un)fun result of shooting out the nozzle and splash at least half the paint everywhere, EVERYWHERE...!
Use M5 or M6 nuts instead! The M6 is 10mm in dimension and a tight fit to get into the bottle but well worth it for thicker paints like Vallejo Model Color. The shape of the nuts means that it's impossible to get more than a partial blockage in the nozzle.
IMPORTANT NOTE! Make sure that the nuts is stainless, preferable Marine Grade acid-proof stainless steel. You'll ruin your paints otherwise with the inevital rust with lesser steel...
The ball bearings is perfect in other containers like Tammy's glass bottles and other wide mouth bottles.
