Em inspired me to make my own board game counters! I designed them in PowerPoint, then printed them on regular paper and used an entire glue stick to glue the page I printed onto the side of a cardboard box. I cut them out with scissors and put them on a map I bought as a set on eBay from Lock 'n Load's Heroes Against the Red Star X-Maps collection. This is essentially an enlarged version of their old Heroes of the Gap map, which I've been interested in since 2012. It's great to finally have this map on my table. That game is too complex for me, though, so I made my own counters that will work using my own rules, which I'm still developing.

This is fantastic… the counters look super; and they look great on the X-Maps, which are very nice in allowing multiple counters without stacking. I know what you mean about Heroes of the Gap’s complexity… as I remember it, it is part of or similar to the LNLP Tactical system, and there’s a LOT to those rules. simplicity can be so much more fun, and just because those kind of rules are less complex doesn’t make them push-overs… your game designs have a lot of depth to playability. I get just as inspired watching what you do and learning how you came to your design concepts. I appreciate the kind words, BTW!
