I bought two sets of these LITKO markers from Amazon for $10.99 each, which you can assemble seven fire markers. Each marker is made up of laser cut acrylic in translucent grey smoke column, amber flames, and a circular transparent yellow base. Requires assembly, which is quite simple with use of any brand plastic model building glue; they measure 30mm high by 15mm wide, the base being 15mm in diameter, which is my typical scale of miniatures gaming… so there’s not a lot of gluing …but they can be used with other games, such as board games with counters, or even naval miniatures…

These look nice, for some reason I have yet to order any. They are quite nice, really. I used to use the Flames of War cotton fire stuff, which is nice but gets hard to store. I like these a lot. There’s a large and small size you can get, btw.
