I bought two sets of these LITKO markers from Amazon for $10.99 each, which you can assemble seven fire markers.
…and a set of 10 smaller flame wreckage markers for $6, from Amazon… Each marker is made up of laser cut acrylic in translucent grey smoke column on the larger markers and golden yellow and red amber flames on the smaller ones. The flames portion glues to circular transparent bases, in yellow and red…requires assembly, which is quite simple with use of any brand plastic model building glue. Being 15mm in diameter, they are perfect for my typical scale of miniatures gaming… so there’s not a lot of gluing and a lot of cool markers! …but they can be used with other games, such as board games with counters, or even naval miniatures…

These look nice, for some reason I have yet to order any. They are quite nice, really. I used to use the Flames of War cotton fire stuff, which is nice but gets hard to store. I like these a lot. There’s a large and small size you can get, btw.
