Some pics of my build. You get a choice of two rear idler wheel assembly. Both are made from three pieces. All parts fit like a glove.

The suspension arms are keyed to fit but you need to keep an eye out as there is wiggle room to them. Had to try some p/e, again great fit, settled right in.

Metal barrel and 3-D printed muzzle brakes, one with canvas cover. The kit also comes with a nice plastic barrel and muzzle brake also.

Individual periscopes for the commanders cupola. Glad this step ended up ok, but I did have to use the one extra that came with.

Nice work thusfar!!! I’ve not been brave enough to try PE yet, even though I do own a few aftermarket kits that have some… one day! The 3D part(s) come with the kit?

Tracks on, went easy enough. Starting to look like a Panther.

That metal barrel is most impressive!!! Love the paint on the roadwheels, with the subtle weathering. I have yet to achieve that “rubber” look with roadwheels I’ve done, lol… I will one day! The tracks have a nice dip/sag to them, too. I just adore Panthers… such a sexy beastie!

It's been an interesting build with so much in very small detail parts and also the most p/e I have ever used. Next just need a bit of sanding out some rough spots here and there then paint when weather permits.

…how is the PE for gluing? I’m assuming CA glue… any issues with drying and holding in place? I have to admit that I’m always amazed at the detail and realism PE brings to kits.

Looking great!!! That hand brushing is phenomenal. The Commander really sells the work.

Thanks Em. I'm pleased with it. I'm making a little base for it. So much detail in such a small model, I was happy to call it done. Ironically enough the 1/35 King Tiger I'm working on has even smaller parts then this one.
