When you want to get into 6mm but don't want to make a whole new table with new terrain and figures... ...just make digital counters in PowerPoint on a satellite photo background! And pretend it's a board game measured in inches instead of hexes. Work in progress...

That’s neat! So, can you move the counters around without having to cut and re-paste? How do you scale the counter size, or did you need too?

I just click and drag the counters, very easy. For scaling, I got the map as close up as I could and then made the counter about the same size as a small house, similar to Lock n Load (which inspired this idea). Still thinking about the scale and the best way to make this map, though.

Where did you get the counter art? I used Google. Those infantry images are art from an Italian infantry model.
