Fastest I ever got running gear and track done, 15-20 minutes. As you can see not much to it. Detail on road wheels is pretty good. Sagging track riding the top of the road wheels helps hide a lot of sins.

The hull sides are separate pieces that come with almost all detail molded on. Commanders hatch can be posed open or closed as can the driver and radio operators hatch. There is a torso figure for the commander. image hosting private

Here I ran into a little problem as the hull is a bit warped with a twist to it also.

The fine detail is REALLY nice! Great looking kit, but a shame on the warped hull…I’ve been they’re and know what a pain in the ass that is.

Pictures are the parts for the main gun. I show them here as the instructions don't! 😂 I kid you not! It really is easy to see how everything fits though. I laugh every time I think about it! Goes together easily, no instructions needed. 😜

Go get’ em, soldier!!! Actually, that looks really nice! I’m glad to read this thread, because I needed inspiration to get my ass in gear on my builds! The IPMS show is in march and I need to haul ass!!! But anyhoo… this is shaping up nicely, my friend!!!

March! Cutting it a little slim, you must be one that works best when the pressure is on! 😀

Well got it together. Not to much for gaps considering the warped hull.

March! Cutting it a little slim, you must be one that works best when the pressure is on! 😀 Yeah, it’s an odd thing with me… I have always been good at working in tight deadlines, but then when I started working for Uncle Sammy, I got used to working under intense deadlines and pressure, to the point it became second nature. It’s not maybe as bad as it sounds for the March deadline… I have the Russian ZIS “Snow Coach” already built, but never shown in competition; the Panzer IV H, which is pretty much built, but needs a couple small bits added, and then paint; Same for the P-51D Mustang. That’s three entries. Slow horses that could potentially be done are the Italian Carro Armato tank, which is primarily built and just needs paint; and the Mach IV “Speed Racer” kit appears a quick build. I’m not gonna kill m,y self trying to get all those out, but there’s no reason (given no unexpected life-crap) I can’t get the PzIV and Stang done on time. Well got it together. Not to much for gaps considering the warped hull. WOW, that’s impressive detail! Nice save on the gaps!!! …sometimes, such things as the latter make a build a little more exciting.

Your Snow Coach is a brilliant build, I really like that one.

Your Snow Coach is a brilliant build, I really like that one. Thanks… if that doesn’t get at the very least, an honorable mention ribbon, I’ll be disappointed 😔

Well here it is all put together. I still have some seem work to do and then a soak in some Dawn and then wait for a warmer day to paint. To be continued

We’re due the same weather in a couple days and yes, take advantage of the “outdoors spray booth” while it lasts! That’s a mighty fine looking kit there… the detail is outstanding.

It's nice to see that they've gotten the gun right for this kit. Most Jagdtiger kits out there have missed a "minor" detail, I'm especially looking at you Dragon, when they've researched and measured the Aberdeen Jagdtiger. There's a slight detail with that hulk of 71 ton of steel. The gun on the Aberdeen Jagdtiger is spiked by the crew before they abandoned it. They did that by emptying the oil from the guns recuperators and fired of a round thus for ever jaming the gun in full recoil.
