Well DANG… OK OK, already! Since purchase veracity it was insisted on, and and phenomenal results displayed on the MSC forum, how could I not comply! I just ordered the 8-bottle wash set from High Altitude Hobbies, on their Turkey Shoot Black Friday sale that ends in another 3 hours at 3pm EST (…juuuuuuuuuust under the wire!)
…seeing the recommendations and the pictures, I figured, though indeed expensive, it’s worth a try! I’ve struggled trying to get those kinds of wash effects I’ve been seeing here in this thread; I started with diluted chalk washes, watercolor and oils, wash bucket sludge, all to limited success, but still not comparable to what you lads do. Let’s see if it’s a Game Changer, as mentioned above!
