Also one on the FFL in Indochina. Both these games are 19.95 on Amazon.

Here's a solitaire book game I found on Amazon. May be of interest to somebody. Hmmm, interesting! I looked it up a little and was surprised to see it has maps and counters! It actually reminds me of a simplified Asquad Leader in some ways (a bit, by the counters, and a lot by the maps), and from what I read from the designer, it actually has quite a bit of depth. Note the 6-page rulebook! I like that a lot 2-4 man “sticks” sound nice and small-unit; looks like it wouldn’t be a large stretch to play this with miniatures, if you can duplicate the forces. The maps look quite similar to Advanced Squad Leader maps, but what really excited me about this is, if you own the nifty HexDraw software, you can create an infinite number of maps for Design Your Own scenarios… I was intrigued enough to put this in my Wishlist on Amazon and plant to pick up at least one of these…most likely both

They do look interesting. Thanks for digging up better pictures. I too was surprised to see individual maps and counters for a game at under 20 bucks. And the maps really do have an ASL/SL look to them. If I had not just ordered Mike Lambo's Long Range Patrol I probably would have grabbed the FFL in Indochina book. But they are on my radar now so will end up with at least one sooner then later. Another thing I noticed is it doesn't have the usual bucket of dice I'm used to throwing in a strictly solitaire game.

Yeah, of the two, the Indochina one is floating to the top… I might just try that one forst and see how I like it, and then if so, maybe pick up the other. These can be kinda tough to get if waiting too long though, so that’s weighing on my mind. Joe’s Gaming Table did a play through that might help in the gaining perspective angle… My kind of thing, for sure! I just put these on my wish list, too. Thanks for sharing! I thought of you as soon as I saw this one!!! It ticks a lot of the boxes for games up your alley, seemed to me. The theaters and scenarios you play have really broadened my views of breaking out of my usual fare.
