Posting some pictures of this build. Opening up loaders hatch. That was easy. They really are nice tracks but they did not glue together as Trumpeter says they will. I took the staples from the instruction sheet, an old fix that works ok.

Trumpeter does not supply the spare track or holder that runs across the back of the hull. I canabalized a section of track from an old pz IV wreck and built a rack from spare plastic. Two pieces of sprue make a decent periscope for the fighting compartment.

Getting there, added a couple gas cans to the rear deck with a strand of wire to look like they are secured. Time to start painting.

Trumpeters 1:72 tracks is quite simply just rubbish!

Very cool build! I’ve never built a Trumpy kit, it it looks like a nicely molded kit…tracks are always hit or miss for me, but I’ve typically built very old kits bought at estate sales; the new kits I’ve bought are dramatically better, so far.
…looks like you fashioned the loader’s hatch door from styrene? Have you entered thos on MSCs Panther Build?
