Sometimes, we may want to store zippie bagged games together in a more protected storage solution; or perhaps you’ve designed your own game and want to box it; or yiu found that old gem in the thrift shop in a mouse eaten box and want to repackage it. Thee are actually many reasons we may want a new game box, but don’t want to replace the whole game. Board Games Maker is one possible company to look at, as they have some of the best prices I’ve personally come across. The following Plain Game Boxes measures 12.4"X8.8"X3", which fits a typical game… but they have other sizes, as well. This is but one company that sells these type game boxes.

I do have some bagged games I would like to box, especially my Revolution Games, they come with a cover sheet of the game that would make excellent box covers. You would think finding a nice sturdy box with lid would not be that hard. (atrb_partsz)

You would think finding a nice sturdy box with lid would not be that hard. (atrb_partsz) Yeah, that’s it exactly… I have a bunch of zippie bag games now, and at least one of my cats looked to eat the plastic at the zipper top! Hundreds of little teeth punctures have really ruined the bag integrity from inadvertent spills and wet weather transport. I bought replacement zippies so, that’s no problem… but that doesn’t stop the little mouse breathed heathens from chomping away if they see them out! I picked these Whitmor Plastic Document Boxes (set of 5, Multicolor) up at Amazon the other night and they just arrived today… …at about $10 for five, I figure it’s a good bet! With a 3-1/4” depth, I can fit two or three games in one (maybe more) and label the box with what’s in there. Currently, all my zippie games are stacked on edge in one of my desk hutch cabinets, which could be better used for other things like books and supplies. I’ll post pics of how they work out.

It looks like they come packaged flat and then you pop them up and together? Nice plastic boxes may be nicer then cardboard boxes.

I’ve used cardboard versions that are smaller, for photos and storage, which hold up well…I’ll be curious to see how sturdy these are when assembled but, they look like they’ll be fine. I like that they’re plastic, and therefore more weather resistant. I didn’t check t9 see if they are archival, but most things are being made as such, these days.
