One of my most favorite people from my old ACG forum days, an amazing modeler, and a heck of a nice guy!!! I’m soooooooo glad you joined up, my friend…just the chance to rekindle a little of that fun in forum discussions is a gold mine to me. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions on forum mechanics… it’s all pretty intuitive, with the ex emotion we have no image storage space and rely on Postimages (or similar photo sharing service), which you’ll find a in the tutorial section. I urge you to also look in the miniatures area (Cheyenne Mountain), where you will find similar paint and build ideas to Area 51’s modeling zone. Have fun and enjoy the forum! |

Thank you all, I'll certainly check out the places you recommended.
I lost most of my online photos when Photo Bucket put up a paywall, so only managed to save a handful. I hope to start making models again soonish, no idea how stuff like paint has been holding up in storage, hopefully it's all usable.

Ugh, Photo Bucket! …the bane of many a forum member across the Internet, including me! I shudder at how much I’d lost. There are still tons of broken links across many a forum, of so many people. I’d had a computer crash several years back and lost so much, too. Postimages is a nice image service and I’m glad it’s around! …may even be easier than Photo Bucket was. |

Cool, I'll check Postimages out. IN ACG, we upgrade the vBullitin to stop the outages we were experiencing... we knew it would reset everything, all old attachments would be deleted and some links lost. It didn't work out as well as we thought, but at the end of the day forums were becoming a dying breed. |
