Used Book Store Find!

Picked this one up yesterday! …$3 at a used book shop.



…it was some real nice reference photos for camouflage, as well as some good historical detail of the vehicles’ manufacture and role in the war. I need to go through some others I bought at the same place several years ago and start upping my game in better knowledge on these for miniatures and board Wargames, as well as modeling.

I loved this series when I was a kid! I still have a couple, plus the Tanks Special edition. Nice grab Em.

Thanks! …it’s in fair shape, too…some facing but colors are good, no crinkled pages, and doesn’t smell like Aunt Ida’s attic.

I had a couple of these. The Battle of Britain one and the Desert War one.

The illustrations are awesome, and the printed historical detail is good. I’m finding these harder to find in my area, though… I used to find lots available in the used book stores, so it was “…I’ll pick these up someday when I have a little more free cash”, as I was always buying large history books; so many of these used book stores have either closed up from the horrific economy, or drastically downsized their spaces.
