When you host a game here at the DropZone, you can use a random dice roller to add in result posts to your game! Here’s how you do it… EasiePeasie! Note that this app is defaulted to 1d6, so when you click the die, it will automatically insert the code in your post so that when you click Create, your roll will show as a random 1d6 roll result. I can configure this app to allow users to change the doe to say a 1d8, 1d20, etc., but it adds a pop up box where you need to specify the range and enter it before you can create your post. Since the majority of our games use 1d6, I’m opting to leave the default, but we can revisit that if need be in future gaming situations. Brought to you by SkyNet… “what could go wrong?!.?

Cool, when it comes to computers easy is what I like the best. Yeah, I totally agree with that! …easier is always better! What I forgot to mention was, when I’ve GMed games at the old forum, I knew you guys always trusted me with my reports and the rolls that were used to get the results, but it always stuck in my mind whether I should have tried screen captures from VASSAL or an online dice chucka. This makes that debate easy… just one extra post shows the dice roll, and you can even add the AAR for the turn under it if you want.
