A cool, little game from Tiny Battle Publishing, at the reasonable price of $29 (cheaper deal for print ‘ play on Wargamer’s Vault), this reminds me a lot of Boots on the Ground. I like a good, in-close combat fight in houses!
I might pick this one up, myself!

Looks like a good game for Scott to morph into a miniatures game set.

Looks like a good game for Scott to morph into a miniatures game set. …I thought the same thing! The video in the first post kinda speaks to the similarity to RPG’s like Counterstrike, Rainbow 6, etc. (…I’ve no clue on those games but I assume, quick brutal house to housel warehouse, compound fighting). I can see what the reviewers are talking about, it being very RPG-like. Ive been back and forth on this one, to be honest… the reviewers mentioned that it’s not necessarily solo friendly, other than trying to make the best move possible; but the issue being the 20 cards that add unexpected events, are supposed to be hidden to the opponent so, is there a work-around for that? Possibly? The other side of that discussion is, the designer said on BGG (in the forum) that the reason he didn’t deign a solitaire AI/bot was because it would be fairly complex (e.g., doorways, LOS, facing and such) and a real nightmare to work into a reasonably simple "game AI". He also mentioned thatFlying Pig was not offering to pay him any extra to add a solo system, but if they did… But that said, there’s not been a game yet that I couldn’t play solitaire. I wanted to buy myself a cheap little wargame for my birthday, and at $29, this qualifies! …I’m considering this, or Debrecen 1944.

Checking YouTube, here’s an interesting vid Kevin Sharp over at The Big Board has done that you might want to check out.
I’m not sure for certain on the whole event card draw mechanic, but in solo play, I’m wondering if you can do a hidden draw… keep the card(s) drawn face down until player turn reveal?
This just sounds like such a cool game with lots of potential, I’m seeing the value in its low cost, offsetting potential for home-ruling, or even development into an expanded version… even miniatures, as Mike mentioned. As opposed to the first Video earlier, sounds like Kev played it solo.

Looks like a good game for Scott to morph into a miniatures game set. Heh, maybe. I did play a bit of Rainbow Six about half my lifetime ago.

Well, you know me… as soon as I say that I may have to look into buying a game, I end up buying it. I bought it Happy Birthday to me!
