A very good 1st build!
I've never built an M3 Stuart, I should.

A very good 1st build! I've never built an M3 Stuart, I should. That you really should do. Avoid the old Tammy M3 Stuart as the tracks in that one couldn't be more faulty than that! The new Tammy M3 Stuart is a marvel of a kit and a pure joy to put together. AFV Club have a lot of variants of the M3/5. Great kits but in the tradition of AFV Club quite fiddly to get together with a lot of parts. Academy's two offerings is adequate but nothing more as they're a bit coarse in the details but there's one really positive detail with the Academy kits and that is that they come with both ok rubber tracks (I used those on my build and they haven't cracked in spite of being painted with Humbrol Enamels nearly 18 years ago) and loose three part track links (track pad and end connectors).

I remember seeing that one in the past… always loved what you did with that kit! I seem to remember that build was the first one that made me realize the interior paint on armor, never having realized it was different! …it’s this little things you get from seeing someone’s work. The weathering was also something that blew me away…and the cable is so lifelike.

Thanks mate and the cable is just a cotton string, nothing fancy at all.
