So here I am back on a forum again. I can't promise to be very active at the moment as I'm battling with depression but here I at least have joined up. I'm a long time scale modeller and I've known Em since the ACG days. In fact it was there that I dragged Em kicking and screaming back to scale modelling. I don't build fast but rather slow and when I rarely do something it takes a long time to do it. I've not finished a build since 2019 but that was a productive year for me as I managed to complete a total of four builds.

Yes, the Armchair General days were where I first discovered how far the modeling hobby had come, in terms of advanced techniques, compared to my teenage years in the 70s. They had a model section there too, and Urban befriended me and helped me pick my first kit… the Panther you see in the Gallery. After he moved to World War Two Zone, we ended up being super moderators there together.

Yes I've got one such page but sadly I can't use it anymore as Farcebook is a bunch of humourless buggers that banned my main profile as they found one too many old humour pictures posted by me that suddenly goes against their so called community standard.

Thanks mate! The camouflage is freehanded with airbrush and MRP paints and the scale is 1:72. The model in itself wasn't particular good as it was an old Italeri kit. I'll come around to post it up with more photos in the forum eventually, it's just a matter of finding the energy to do it. But bad kit or not I did have fun with it and built it with record speed for me as I started it at July 17, 2019 and ended it at July 17, 2019.

Oh man, I forgot about that! LOL…yeah, brother, you swung that Ban Hammer harder than John Henry! That site had some real wing dings try to pull fast ones! I really miss that site… in its hey day, it was something special! I most of all, miss the Challenge Builds… I don’t know any forum that does the, as well as those days. We’re starting to get a nice cadre of modelers here, so who knows!

It was a couple of enjoyable years. Group builds is fun but hard for me to attend as I never know beforehand if I'm going to be able to finish in time or not due to my health problem and nowadays even the energy drain that comes with my depression. Some days I just get up and manage to empty the litter box only to find that all energy has gone afterwards.
