This stuff has many uses for protecting your games, and the surfaces they are played on! I recently bought a large sheet online (Amazon), for the bottom of the fender washers I use for bases on my 15mm Vietnam War metal miniatures. I don’t want those washers, which are bare metal, scratching the homemade cardboard tiles I painted. Unfortunately, the sheet I purchased was something like a 1/16th of an inch (or slightly more) thick! …too thick for the minis, but I had anyhernuse that popped in my mind immediately… ..I’d bought this neat neat tray on Amazon months ago, which in itself has a felt bottom to the tray that is substantially thick to the point, it gives the dice a nice bounce! However, the bottom of the dice tray is bare wood (stained, of course) and I hate the thought of it sliding over time and use over my nice, laminate desktop. Plus, it was manufactured a tad off kilter, where it wobbles in two corners doe to slight warpage. I marked the back of the felt sheet with a pencil, using the tray as the jig, and then cut the piece out; peeled and with care, stuck it to the base. Perfect! No wobble and surface safe! You can see the sheet in the package, on the corner of the desk… the desk in question… and the damned fine looking leader of your forum! (Handsome bloke!) That used to be my work office… it’s now WarRoom North!
