Old School Tactical is made by Flying Pig Games, owned my Mark Walker…who owned Lock ‘N Load Publishing and designed (among other titles) Band of Heroes series (which became the “Heroes of…” series after he left and David Heath took over). OST was his Flying Pig Games’ version of BoH…WWII fare. This game is OST’s modern warfare version, and shares a lot of similarities to BoH, as well as Mark’s Heroes of the Gap. Shayne Logan is an amazing designer, and I believe he’ll be working for FPGs for a long time! About my only hurdle in design to get over was the maps… I still prefer LNLP’s, but these are very nice. |
