I hope you all had a marvelous and safe New Year’s Eve, and find yourself with excitement for the new year we find ourselves this morning. Last year held a lot of change for me personally, with retirement finally achieved, and even this new forum started nine months ago; in many ways, many transitions I won’t quote, brag, or belabor. A lot of change, good and bad. We all find ourselves in similar circumstances, and we all must make the best of dealing with and capitalizing on and in that change. I’m not a big one for New Year’s Resolutions, but I always consider where I’d like the new year to head. I look at them more as Goals, rather than “resolutions”. My number one goal is my health, which all primarily revolves around loosing weight… a lifelong battle to date, I want to conquer the heck out of it this year! I also have some emotional baggage and inner questions to answer, none of which will be easy. Everything beyond that is gravy!!! I have so much more time on my hands to truly make the most of more time with my hobbies and passions. I worked hard and long to get to this stage of life where I can enjoy what truly sparks fore in my soul. Wargaming, and miniatures and models building of course, rise to the top. Acoustic guitar is surprisingly, a primary focus…a desire I have had burning since the 70’s, but never mastered. Artwork is another, much neglected the past 40+ years. I’ve been making new friends the past year on a scope I haven’t experienced since my school days, which is exciting! Lots of changes! Here’s to 2023! I hope you find Magic and Excitement in this new year.

Happy New Year, all!
2022 had its ups and downs for me, with losing a bad job and then landing a really great job! I also made some new friends in the past year, which is something I really needed.
Em, thanks for getting this forum off the ground in 2022! I haven't used it as much as I thought I would, but it's so great to be able to check up on everybody now and then!

Happy new year guys.
I am honestly glad to see the last of 2020. November and December were completely fubar`d by first covid then this really nasty bug that has been going round the UK. We had a good Xmas with our daughter Amelia visiting for a week.
Like Scott, I have`nt been around as much as I would have liked, but hopefully that will change in the new year.
Take care guys and hope 23 treats us better than 22.
