In the past, I’ve had gaming events at home, geared to holidays and historical observances, my infamous PanzerFest during Summer Vacation being a highlight, as was InvasionFest on and around D-Day and BulgeFest during the month of the Battle of the Bulge observances. These made gaming time just that much more special. Since I’ve retired, it looks PanzerFest is the only one that will change, as, well, I’m on vacation every day! …so, I think I’ll make it an August event!
But to celebrate my entry into retirement, I think it’s time for a couple new ones!
The first will start next (and every) year on March 26th, called FreedomFest. Games to be in subject or great liberations, as was my retirement date!
This year will be WereFest, which starts my now annual Halloween gaming on October October 31st. Featured this year will be The Long Road, which is WWIII, with Werewolves, Vampires, Witches, Zombies!
Also, maybe some Nuklear Winter ‘68, with the mysterious a Black Hand mutants taking on Nazi’s rising from their nuclear holocaust bunkers.
