You can cheat a bit if you want these to be stronger and more detailed.
Add signs and other stuff in software if you want to and then print not onto paper but onto sticky label sheet.
I bought a pack which has two per A4 sheet which is a fair size.
The printed sticker can be cut and stuck onto card stock for strength. Otherwise put the whole sticker on
card and cut after. I do that and then use one of those cheap cutters with the rolling circular blades.
For the bits that bend to go under or inside other parts to join things, I use the other blade which leaves a cut
followed by small solid bit. These cuts bend really well.
No glue for the printout is much easier.
