Yes, I think it is his newest… I saw it on Facebook last week I think it was, and it looks intriguing. Reminds me a lot of Scott’s styles of games! I always liked a game/scenario based on rescue missions and breakouts; that’s been the subject of more than one homebrewed scenarios in different games of mine. I wish someone would redo a modern version of Colditz!

I wish someone would redo a modern version of Colditz! I thought someone did? There’s a newer version of the game, with new artwork and updated rules, was released in October 2016 by Osprey Games…. Which I own, and is pretty close to the original from the 1970’s (which I also own…the one with the swastika). The new version’s board is almost exactly the same, which is cool. But after seeing all these DVG style games, I’d love to see a reimagining of it in a new format. Hmmm… that’s make a cool miniatures game, wouldn’t it, hahaha! |
