I picked up a set of Red LITKO Bullet Arrow Tokens, Set of 10 from Amazon for about $10. I use these as directional markers in general; but I picked them up specially to be used with my Battlestar Galactica space fleet miniatures game I designed, in order to show capital ship Combat Movement. Some shops will be stationary at times, while others are maneuvering for attack or defense.

Is that a picture of your setup Em? Why yes it is, thanks for noticing! That’s my Battlestar Galactica miniatures game I designed… The star map is one of those Tri-fold school project foamcore board setups, in black…I used a white paint pen to draw in the hexes using the punched out tree from a Memoir ‘44 tiles sheet, and then freehand painted the stars. The map shown was for playtesting… still playtesting! I’ve since bought a large felt space hex map from HotMatz for actual gameplay. I’ll probably bring it with me to Origins next year…wanna come? The miniatures are mostly from Studio Bergstrom in Maryland (Galactics and Zylons ), and I forget the other vendor I used. The fighters, Capital ships, Corsairs, Frigates, etc., are white metal/pewter and resin. All hand painted. The stands were bought off of Amazon. I have a full ruleset about 80% completed for full on space combat. I am still figuring out electronic warfare, boarding parties, and am thinking about a separate battle map of a Cylon Basestar, and Colonial Battlestar and Colonial One for boarding warfare… I’ll need to find figure miniatures to convert to Colonial Warriors and Marines, and harder still, Cylons! …I recently found someone that sells 3-D printed Cylons so, I need order some and see what size those are; then I can go from there for the Colonial personnel, maybe some Cylon Humanoids…and of course, the ship interiors maps.
