One neat alteration I made for my personal usage of the forum was switching away from the BBC code editor that is the default setting on the forum — you probably know what this looks like simply because it’s what you’ve been using when you registered by default…
You can change this to having the Preview editor be your default, seeing it when you go to Creat a thread/post. Try it and see if this makes your forum experience better, and if if doesn’t just change it back again! How do I do that? Simple! Follow these instructions below:
1. Go to and select your your Profile link > and when your Profile Page opens up, select Edit Profile
2. Select Settings
3. Scroll down to Posting Default > deselect the radio button for BBCode by selecting the radio button for Preview and click the Save Account Settings at the bottom of the page
Thats it! If you see you don’t like it after using this new way, simply go back in and select BBCode instead.
