A Chess app was recently added to the forum! It’s pretty bare bones, but it’s better than nothing! Simply create a new game in the gaming area that shows the Chess button, by selecting any member that wants to play ‘ya.
There’s another app installed in the background the forum that tracks wins/losses and alerts for next moves.
It works pretty seamlessly with computer or laptop, and is pretty easy to get your gaming on.
It does work with iPad tablets, but you need to select the piece you want to move first; then hold your finger on that piece to expand the pic… press outside the chessboard to unmaximize the image; then you can select the square you want to move the piece and it’ll work (I know…odd).
The app doesn’t seem to play well with cell phones, so nothing to be done there, I’m afraid.
Scott and I have been trying it out and it’s working fine.
