I have found "less Rambo" the better way, wait to cross roads, stay out of the open areas, not even move at times. But that is not a winning proposition either, just seems to give me a better chance.
That spiral binding is the way to go, nowhere in my area to get it done that I have found yet anyway.
I have not had the game out in a week or so, now I am hung up on scenario 6.

That spiral binding is the way to go, nowhere in my area to get it done that I have found yet anyway. I have not had the game out in a week or so, now I am hung up on scenario 6. Yes indeed, the spiral binding is so much easier to play on the book provided map; though a bit tricky not to bump pieces when looking back into the rules holding the pages vertical (LOL)…and packing up the game so the cats don’t play, which I accomplish by putting in my keyboard drawer that the laptop is in on my old office desk, new wargaming center! I started to realize fully, about turn 7 that I wasn’t being near stealthy enough… that truly is the key to the game, though might take many, many turns to play out a scenario like this. I began to realize late that the VC can literally walk right by you in a Jungle tile, even if you’re not hidden! …that’s likely an important tactic, to not shoot or toss a grenade and let the VC hopefully pass you by, and then run for the victory row. I suppose other scenarios make that not as easy, if you’re not simply running for the other side of the map like this first scenario.
