Wow, looks like a lot of work, and it looks really great! Well done. Thanks, Scott! I consistently forget to properly track time invested in projects  …I get so into it that, the “business” end just doesn’t enter the equation, unless I’m under contract and consignment to make something for a customer, which hasn’t been in a looooooooooong time (these days, I tend to give stuff away, rather than sell, lol). The hard part was figuring out how to do them, which is highlighted pretty well, now that I peek back through those posts  Funny, it didn’t occur to me the amount of time I’d put in on there, but like all things, once you get going and work the bugs out, productivity speeds up. I would figure as a guesstimate, that I can bang out five tiles in about a half an hour; it was maybe triple that in the beginning, ‘cause I was trying to figure things out on the fly, design-wise, and figuring out the properties and use of the markers. I couldn’t guess the full length of time I to this… maybe 20 hours? Regardless of time, it’s been an awesome project to do, and really got the artistic juices flowing again! Now I’m thinking of a space station game! |
